Cellroute AC

Cellroute AC is a great entry level analogue fixed cellular terminal from Telecom FM. The Telecom FM Cellroute AC is a wireless landline GSM Terminal that once a SIM card has been inserted and it has been connected to a mains power supply will provide the equivalent to a standard analogue telephone line.

This means that you can plug in a normal analogue (POTS) telephone and make and receive calls over the GSM mobile phone network, or the unit can be connected to the analogue trunk port of a PBX telephone System in the same way that a standard Analogue Phone line would be connected.

The Advantage of connecting the Telecom FM Cellroute AC to the analogue trunk of a PBX is that all the extensions can share the Cellroute. Using a product such as the cellroute AC will enable free of charge calls between office and field based staff using standard mobile phone tariffs that enable free calls between mobiles on the same plan.

Another use of the Telecom FM Cellroute AC is to provide low cost calls to mobiles - simply use a SIM card that gives a bundle of cross network minutes, and use the Cellroute AC to make calls using this cross network calling plan and you will pay the call charges to your mobile provider at the rates agreed, instead of your fixed line provider.
