The CGW-T Fixed Cellular Terminal uses a standard mobile phone SIM card to provide a wireless landline service. Just like a normal telephone line you can connect a standard analogue telephone or connect the CGW-T to the analogue trunk port of a business telephone system.

By using the CGW-T with a competitive mobile phone tariff you can reduce the cost of calling mobile phones, usually with an average of 50% saving. The reason for this is that many mobile phone tariffs offer a bundle of cross network minutes for a fixed monthly fee which means that you can call all mobile phone networks for a fixed monthly cost, providing you do not exceed your monthly bundle limit.

By connecting the CGW-T to your telephone system it means that it can be shared between the extension users just like the other phone lines connected to the system. If you need to make more than one call at a time then simply add additional units to spare analogue trunks ports in the same way that you would add additional PSTN telephone lines.

The CGW-T fixed cellular terminal is connected to the analog trunk interface of the PBX. The Automatic Route Select Table (ARS) in the PBX defines which calls will be automatically routed via the CGW-T fixed cellular terminal to the pre-defined GSM network. In doing so, the Talksaver Plus gateway reduces the company’s telephone costs.

Installation of the Celuline CGWT does not require special skills. Simply insert the SIM card, connect the unit to the PBX trunk interface, attach the antenna and power supply and your CGW-T fixed cellular terminal can immediately start saving money for you. The unit has an LCD display, which shows the GSM operator’s name, the signal strength and other useful call progress information.

A number of additional parameters for the CGW-T Fixed Cellular Terminal, such as Audio Volume Control, Conversation Time-Out and Restricted Digits, can be programmed via DTMF.
